WHO WE ARE

Wyse2 was an obvious name as we are the 'two Wyses'! Using our collective 60+ years of experience working on food retail, cafés, restaurants, outside catering, contract catering and 'grab & go' concepts we formed Wyse2 in 2006. 

From getting our hands dirty back of house (you name it we’ve done it), to Board Level with AIM and Blue Chip listed companies we have more collective experience than most.

 

We understand what it's like to be a minnow in a vast and competitive industry, or a brand requiring a fresh pair of eyes. We have delivered a number of successful projects for Stellar brands  Haagen-Daz Cafes, The Gourmet Burger Kitchen, The Real Greek, Taylor Street Baristas, Hop, Franco Manca The Good Egg and Dishoom.

 

Over the years Wyse2 Ltd has worked collaboratively with many other leading experts and companies to provide an expanded skill and resource.

Josh qualified with a HND in Hospitality & Institutional Management at Middlesex University. His background spans over 30 years in the retail hospitality industry.

Josh cut his teeth as part of the Management Team with brands such as Muswells and Tony Romas gaining valuable insight into how restaurants operate and can work effectively.

Joining Haagen-Dazs in 91, Josh progressed through the ranks from Unit Manager, to Operations Manager, and eventually as Operations Director, sitting on the main European Board for circa 50 UK National sites with a mixture of company owned and franchised stores.

Following a brief stint with Robin Birley setting up a new sandwich concept, Josh joined Nestle as Operations Director to grow their populist Café Nescafe Brand form 3 to 50 sites operating throughout the UK.

Josh was parachuted into to Tootsies, a fifteen strong restaurant chain, as Operations Director, to improve the profitability of the business, and ensure the expansion was executed in a controlled and sustained way. The business grew to 30 sites exiting in year 6 delivering ROI for the VC partners.

Having spent much of his career in front line operations, Josh now runs Wyse2 Ltd, a Consultancy Business utilising his experience and skills for Entrepreneurs, Start Ups, New Brands to the UK,  V.C. Backed Businesses, AIM Listed Companies & Blue Chip Organisations.

Sally is the food brain of Wyse2 Ltd. With our associates we have worked on project management, openings & menus for Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Dishoom, The Good Egg, Franco Manca, The Real Greek & Hop.  

I'm always keen to add to my depth of knowledge about food – maybe it’s a new ingredient, new trend or new spin on a classic. I love the creative process; I work hard with my clients to make sure their evolution is everything they need for a successful business.

I’ve been lucky enough to have been involved in lots of great things – you never stop learning! I have been Head of Food for a national chain of restaurants, spent 10 years working in food retail with Waitrose and Sainsbury’s and have also been employed in a range of projects in the food and restaurant sector.
